Rishi K, based in San Francisco, has a prestigious back catalogue of releases on respected labels such as: I Records, SETA and Circuit Label. With such a fine list of productions, a release on Puro Music was due up sooner or later. He has left his mark on the Spanish label with his ‘Home’ EP. The original mix of ‘Home´ is an upbeat deep house track, adopting a less is more approach. Packed with infectious synth stabs & bottom-heavy basslines, it is the perfect dance floor heater, driven with an effortless melody. This single-track EP is ably supported with 4 stellar remixes from the label’s remarkable pool of talent. First up we have Gaol, who masterfully blends grooves and vocal snippets to devastating effect. Following suit, Campaner delivers a raw techno number with a killer breakdown Next up, label boss Sebas Ramis displays his versatility, applying a progressive sheen to proceedings. A well balanced, varied and energetic EP is finished with the delicate delight that is Guri’s Slowdown mellow remix. Yet another strong release on Puro Music, delivering more quality music for its fans. As if he’s not busy enough, Rishi K hosts two monthly radio shows ‘Deepwave Sessions’ on Pure FM and ‘Sonic Soul’ on Weatradio.gr, every third Monday of the month.
